My name is Ellie. I have had Selective Mutism since I was 3 or 4 years old and I am currently 17. I became really interested in Selective Mutism and mental health a few years ago. I found that there is a lack of resources and information on Selective Mutism even though it is not rare. SM is widely unknown and misunderstood. The goal of the website is to share our experiences of living with SM, work to raise awareness for it, and provide much needed resources. Please note that I am not a medical professional and this website is for educational and informational purposes. The information provided does not substitute medical advice.
